Who We Are
TANDAV is a living co-creation expressed through me — Sandeep Singh Gandhi — a devoted practitioner and guide in the Himalayan Kriya and Yog-Vedantic traditions, a practicing Jyotishi, and the founder of this offering.
This path has been my life’s sadhana. I have walked it through many seasons — fire and stillness, initiations and undoings. It has transformed my body, mind, and sense of self. It has reoriented my life toward something sacred — far greater than the ego-identity I once clung to, and quietly remained imprisoned by.
I have had the deep honor of having completed over 1,000 hours of formal training in Himalayan Kriya, Kundalini Yoga, Tantra, and Jyotish — including direct initiations with master yogis in the Himalayas, the sacred cradle of Yoga. I return to those hallowed lands each year — to drink from the source, deepen my practice, and carry these teachings westward with authenticity, reverence, and power.
Yoga is not something I do. It is who I am.
It lives through me — in how I listen, guide, choose, and return: to discipline, to remembrance, to refinement.
TANDAV - A Sacred Offering
TANDAV is not a method or a product. It is the living expression of this inner work — a sacred invitation for sincere seekers to engage with yogic practices in their full subtlety and power.
What I offer arises from direct experience, held in deep reverence for the lineage and the living current of Shakti that animates it all.
This is a path where practice becomes prayer. Discipline becomes devotion. Refinement is the rebellion. And love is the foundation.
If you are ready to go beyond the surface — to breathe deeper, burn cleaner, and bow lower — welcome. Let us walk together.
Jyotish – The Inner Cosmos
Alongside the embodied path of Himalayan Kriya, I walk the path of Jyotish — the ancient Vedic science of light.
Often mistaken as predictive, Jyotish is, at its essence, a mirror of the soul’s karmic architecture — a luminous map that reveals your dharma, patterns, and the sacred timing of growth and surrender. It is both subtle and precise. Both spiritual and deeply human.
My training in Jyotish complements and informs my yogic sadhana. One moves through the body. The other, through time. Together, they offer a multidimensional lens on the Self — refining the alignment between inner knowing and outer action.
I offer Jyotish readings not to provide certainty, but to support clarity. Not for entertainment, but for sincere seekers ready to look inward and listen. These readings can be powerful companions on the yogic path, helping to name, time, and refine the work already alive within you.
For those walking the path of TANDAV — or simply ready to meet themselves more honestly — Jyotish is offered as a potent doorway.
Honoring the Lineage
TANDAV is not a personal creation. It flows from a deep and ancient river — fed by many sacred sources.
While I have had the honor of walking with several luminous teachers, my principal teacher and mentor is Anand Mehrotra, a contemporary Himalayan master rooted in the Yog-Vedantic tradition. Under Anandji’s guidance, I have been initiated into deep kriya, kundalini, jyotish, and meditative practices that have profoundly shaped my inner and outer life. His teachings carry the living flame of the Himalayan yogic lineage — unbroken, luminous, and fiercely alive.
I have also received direct initiation into the Kriya Yoga tradition of Swami Shri Yukteshwar Giri, the principal teacher of Paramahansa Yogananda, author of The Autobiography of a Yogi.
Alongside this primary lineage, I am a grateful student of Sadhguru — blessed by his presence, shaped by his teachings, and deeply touched by the consecrated spaces of the Isha Foundation — in India and the United States.
I bow also to other great beings and traditions — the fierce wisdom of Tantric mystics, the elemental voices of indigenous medicine, and the sacred technologies of shamanic paths.
Each has been a mirror — reflecting a facet of the sacred and reminding me that the path is vast, and the truth has many voices.
TANDAV arises from this fertile confluence — a vessel for timeless teachings to express themselves in a modern, embodied, integrated way.
What is shared here is not mine. It is the living current of a lineage far beyond this life.
And it is in a spirit of reverence and gratitude that I offer it to you.
