Why the Hanuman Chalisa?
The Hanuman Chalisa is one of the most widely recited devotional hymns in India.
Composed by the poet-saint Tulsidas in the sixteenth century,
its forty verses celebrate Hanuman as the embodiment of unwavering devotion, courage, humility, wisdom, strength and selfless service. For centuries, practitioners have incorporated the Chalisa into their daily sadhana,
not simply to memorise its verses, but to cultivate the qualities that Hanuman himself represents. This offering is an invitation into that living tradition.
Why This Circle?
Rather than a course, we wanted to create a shared practice. A place where we gather consistently in community.
Where pronunciation becomes natural. Where understanding grows organically. Where discipline slowly transforms into devotion.
Whether you are completely new to the Hanuman Chalisa or have been chanting for years, you are warmly welcome.
By the End of 21 Days You Will…
✓ Chant the Hanuman Chalisa with confidence
✓ Develop clear pronunciation and rhythm
✓ Understand the overall structure and themes of the Chalisa
✓ Build a meaningful relationship with Hanuman and what he represents
✓ Establish a sustainable daily practice
✓ Become part of a supportive community of fellow practitioners
Daily Live Practice
Every morning we gather online for thirty minutes.
Each session includes:
• Opening invocation
• Chanting the Hanuman Chalisa together
• Pronunciation guidance
• Silent reflection
The emphasis is on consistency
rather than perfection.
The Practice
Sunday Satsangs
Each Sunday we remain together for a longer session.
These gatherings include:
• Stories from the Ramayana
• Understanding Hanuman and the Chalisa
• Refining the Hanuman energy within us
• Discussion and questions
Reflections on bringing Hanuman’s qualities
into daily life.
Daily Home Practice
Outside our live sessions, you will continue your practice independently.
Each day you will:
• Learn and review the assigned verses
• Listen to the recording
• Practice aloud
• Check in with your accountability partner
Small daily steps create lasting transformation.
Accountability Through Community
Transformation rarely happens in isolation.
Each participant will be paired with a practice partner for the duration of the sadhana.
Your role is simple:
Practice. Encourage one another. Celebrate consistency.
No competition. No comparison. Just shared commitment.
Commitment Contribution
In order to encourage consistency in practice, we use a mechanism called Practice Credits.
Practice Credits are designed to honor sincere, consistent practice and align your financial commitment with your practice commitment. They are applied at the conclusion of the sadhana based on your self-reported daily practice and reduce your overall contribution.
At the conclusion of the sadhana, you are also welcome to dedicate some or all of your earned Practice Credits to support future practitioners and TANDAV offerings. There is no expectation, only an invitation.
The true value of this offering lies not in the Practice Credits themselves, but in the discipline, devotion, and transformation cultivated through showing up each day.
The greatest commitment in this circle is not financial. It is the commitment to show up each day.
Earn one Practice Credit for every completed day of practice.
At the conclusion of the Sadhana, each Practice Credit is worth USD 10.
Complete all 21 days with sincerity and earn USD 210 in Practice Credits.
How it works
Initial Contribution: USD 250
Potential Practice Credits: up to USD 210
Minimum Final Contribution: USD 40
Space intentionally limited.
As with all TANDAV offerings, if finances are in any way a barrier to joining us, reach out.
We are committed to working with sincere seekers to find an exchange that feels aligned for everyone involved.
